National Sales Manager, Video Advertising

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling our cost-per-view (CPV) video advertising solutions to leading advertising agencies, with a specific focus on Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) clients. If you have a proven track record in digital media sales, a deep understanding of the agency landscape, and a passion for video advertising, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation: Exceed ambitious sales targets by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with advertising agencies serving QSR and CPG clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at agencies, including media planners, buyers, and account directors.
- Solution Selling: Articulate the value proposition of our CPV video advertising platform, tailoring presentations and proposals to meet the specific objectives and challenges of agency clients.
- Market Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs within the QSR and CPG sectors to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Ad Operations, Marketing, and Product, to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales pipeline and provide regular reports on sales activities and progress towards goals.
- Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms for both the client and the company.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven success in digital media sales, with a strong emphasis on video advertising.
- Demonstrable experience selling to advertising agencies, particularly those with QSR and/or CPG clients.
- Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic buying, ad serving, and performance metrics (CPV, CTR, VCR, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to tell a compelling story.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Existing network of contacts within QSR and CPG-focused advertising agencies.
- Experience with CPV or performance-based advertising models.
- Familiarity with video ad tech platforms and measurement tools

Compensation Range
Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is $120,000 to $130,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
